September 10th, Sun is hosting a webinar on the topic of Solaris virtualization.
The presentation will be given by Great Northern and Owens Corning. The webinar
content will be available on Sun.com after the broadcast.

September 17th is the first official meeting of the SAP on Sun special interest group.
The meeting will be held in Chicago. There will be a series of presentations following
two tracks: 1) infrastructure and 2) SAP application deployment on Sun. Great Northern
is a particpating member of the SIG and will be presenting at the meeting.
Great Northern is participating with Owens Corning to build a special interest group within ASUG, the Americas SAP User Community, called SAP on Sun. This SIG will be the first within ASUG to focus on integrating SAP and a platform.
February 2009. Great Northern launches SAP Consulting Practice. Since 2006, the company has been providing SAP Basis consulting and will now offer a broader mix of SAP services to enhance its traditional role as a trusted data center resource to regional and national clients. Michael Anderson, Ph.D., Global Practice Manager at Great Northern will be responsible for leading the practice.

Great Northern welcomes Tom Alfieri to the SAP Practice. Tom worked for thirty years at Owens Corning and brings a wealth of SAP and infrastructure business to the practice. Tom will be working with our customers to define large scale SAP and datacenter projects.
