Janis Jones is the President of Great Northern Consulting Services, based in Columbus, Ohio. For over a decade, Great Northern has been specializing in management consulting, business process optimization and IT strategy and implementation. Proud to be a part of the Certified Women's Business Enterprise and a member of NFIB, Great Northern combines unique talent and experience to provide customers with total IT solutions.
Janis Jones, along with husband, Jeffrey Jones, co-founder and Great Northern CFO, take pride in delivering responsive and timely solutions for all business and technology needs by understanding how high quality IT services and solutions can enable businesses to meet the economic and competitive challenges they encounter in today's markets. Both, with extensive backgrounds in Information Technology, bring considerable consulting and management experience to their client base.
Janis earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Ohio University and a Masters of Science in Computer Information Science from The Ohio State University. Janis has also served on the Dean's Advisory Committee for the College of Arts and Sciences at OU and is still active in the Women in Science and Engineering program there. Janis was honored as a Distinguished Alumni by Ohio University College of Arts & Sciences in 2001.
